Purchase & Store Officer

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a similar role.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing inventory, procurement orders, and documentation.

Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure the best pricing and terms with suppliers.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain order in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing: Procure materials, goods, and services based on project or departmental needs, ensuring best value for money and timely delivery.

Supplier Coordination: Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Inventory Control: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Storage Management: Ensure proper organization and safe storage of materials in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Compliance & Quality: Ensure that procurement and storage practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
